Nicole Knott's artistic journey began unexpectedly about a decade ago, amidst the chaos of home renovations. What started as a simple vision for a wall quickly transformed into a consuming passion for painting. Completely self-taught, Nicole delved into the world of art with a voracious appetite for experimentation and expression.
Specializing in abstract works, Nicole's creations come to life through the dynamic interplay of acrylic paints, chalk, and pastels. Her distinctive style is characterized by a captivating blend of dark, earthy tones and vibrant, wild bursts of color. Eric Waugh
Eric Waugh, born in Montreal, Quebec in 1963, is a self-taught artist whose distinctive style has garnered international acclaim. Before turning to painting in 1988, Eric gained experience in graphic illustration and product design, which has influenced his unique artistic vision.
Forgoing many conventions, Eric has developed a recognizable style characterized by energetic, graceful, and dynamically tense paintings. His works exude positive energy, drawing viewers into an expressive vision filled with warmth and hope. Each piece begins as a clear and detailed image in his mind, translating effortlessly onto paper or canvas with rhythmic themes of graceful forms and ethereal color.

Mr. Hydde
Mr. Hydde is a painter living and working on the dark side in the greater Toronto area. He matriculated through a traditional art education, including a B.F.A and an M.F.A. conferred from two prestigious Canadian Universities before the loving call of Low Brow, and Street Art ruined him forever.
Mr. Hydde is an admirer of early Surrealism, Dada, Pop Art, and specifically the great and marvellous European art collective COBRA. He feels a great admiration and spiritual affinity with the work of Jean Dubuffet and the later, “In your face!” work of Philip Guston.
Mr. Hydde has survived a strange extended adventure in Tokyo, a private battle with cancer, and a soul crushing series of day jobs. He juggles his dark creative existence with an alter-ego mostly responsible for helping him hide in plain sight and pay the bills. As a “people watcher” and a student of human nature,
Mr. Hydde is compulsively interested in the dynamics of the subconscious and psychological narratives that arise from the floating bits of flotsam and jetsam that accumulate as we move through our complex lives.
Michele Taras
After 25 years as a photographer, including eight years in fashion photography with publications like Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar, Michele Taras embarked on a new passion in 2018: painting. Described as “reminiscent of Picasso - after he fell into a rainbow” by reporter Kitty Huisman, Taras's bright and colorful paintings bring happiness and energy to any room.
Taras's unique style blends fauve art and expressionism, drawing inspiration from the world of imagination. Her whimsical paintings are filled with playful energy, patterns, and vibrant colors, rejecting traditional rules in favor of heart-driven expression. She primarily uses acrylic paint, a fast-drying medium that keeps up with her vivid imagination.
Passionate about social issues, Taras often addresses themes such as nature conservation, women's issues, and injustices in her work. Her paintings invite viewers to discover hidden meanings and deeper symbolism within the patterns.
Taras's works are held in private collections across Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, and the US. Her art has been featured in various juried shows, including the prestigious Paint Ontario. In 2019, she founded the North-End Art Girls (NEAG) to support other female artists, hosting several art shows throughout the year.
