Your Guide to Buying Original Art
At ArtLoop Gallery, we understand that purchasing original artwork can be an exciting yet sometimes daunting experience. Whether you're a first-time buyer or a seasoned collector, we want to ensure you feel confident and informed at every step of your art-buying journey. Below, we’ve compiled answers to some of the most common questions we receive. If you can’t find the information you're looking for, don’t hesitate to reach out to our team—we're here to help!
We strive to ensure that the artwork images displayed on our site are as close to the original as possible. However, we understand that photographs can’t fully capture the essence of the work. To help you make an informed decision, we offer digital mock-ups to visualize the artwork on your walls, to scale, before purchase. For local purchases, we also coordinate in-person viewings of the artwork. These services are free, and we highly recommend using them if you’re uncertain about your choice.
Once your artwork is delivered, you also have 3 days to trial it in your space. If you're not satisfied, we offer a full refund (excluding shipping).
While we do not provide financial advice or guarantee appreciation in value, we do believe purchasing original art is an investment in culture, creativity, and your personal aesthetic. By supporting talented artists, you’re contributing to the growth of art communities and helping ensure the survival of artistic expression.
Prices are determined by the artists, with some occasional guidance from us to ensure fairness. We work closely with artists to ensure they are fairly compensated for their time and skill. Prices are reflective of factors such as the artist’s experience, materials used, the size of the piece, and the uniqueness of the work.
If an artwork is listed as “framed,” it means that the artist has already framed the piece, and this is included in both the listed dimensions and price. We provide an image of the framed artwork in the listing for clarity. In some cases, framing may be optional; if you have any questions or would like to discuss other framing options, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
All artworks at ArtLoop Gallery are original or part of a limited edition series. For limited edition works, the total number of editions is specified in the artwork description. Each piece is signed by the artist and comes with an authenticity certificate. This certificate includes details about the artwork and its purchase, ensuring the artwork’s originality and provenance.
To purchase artwork, simply complete the transaction on our website. Additional shipping costs (if applicable) will be calculated during checkout. Please allow up to 7-14 business days for the delivery of your artwork, depending on your location.
If you’re on the fence, we highly recommend reserving the artwork. By doing so, you can take advantage of our free services, such as visual mock-ups, in-person viewings (for local purchases), or one-on-one consultations. Reserving gives you time to decide without any pressure or commitment.
