Carina Francioso

Carina Francioso is an internationally recognized, award-winning Canadian-Italian fine artist whose contemporary realist oil paintings are held in private and corporate collections worldwide. Her meticulous attention to detail and profound connection to her subjects distinguish her work in the art world.

 

Inspired by the ever-changing waters of the world, Francioso captures their beauty, power, and fragility. Her experiences boating on Georgian Bay in Canada and summers spent seaside in Salento, Italy, since the age of 16, have profoundly influenced her art. This connection to water is also reflected in her exploration of the female nude in water, symbolizing the strength, fragility, power, healing, and life-giving qualities shared by both woman and water.
