Franck Rivoal

Born on March 1, 1968, in Paris, Franck Rivoal is a visual painter known for his captivating works that merge elements of New Realism, Neo-Dada, and Pop Art. Growing up amidst the bustling Saint-Ouen flea market, the world's largest antique and second-hand market, Franck Rivoal was exposed to a diverse array of artistic and cultural influences that would shape his creative path.

 

His passion for painting ignited at the age of 23 after reading a biography of French painter Maurice Utrillo. As a self-taught artist driven by a deep desire to understand art history, Franck Rivoal immersed himself in the world of art by studying the works of great masters, visiting museums, artists' studios, auction houses, and galleries, and acquiring numerous paintings to further his education and inspiration.

 

In 2009, while living in Rennes, Brittany, Franck Rivoal began creating his own works, channeling years of artistic energy and passion into his creations. Over time, he honed his craft and developed what he describes as a revolutionary artistic concept, blending meticulous composition with bold stylistic elements.

 

Franck Rivoal's work has resonated with art collectors across France, Europe, and the United States. His unique vision has led to collaborations with notable figures, including American lawyer and art agent Chandler Finley from Miami. Following their collaboration, Finley now represents Franck Rivoal as his artistic agent. In the coming months, Franck Rivoal will be relocating to Miami to embark on major projects that promise to elevate his artistic journey to new heights.
