Dan Ross

Dan Ross is an artist who carries on a family tradition of creativity, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. Initially passionate about drawing, Dan eventually transitioned to painting, with a primary focus on acrylics over the past 5-6 years. His work is typically done on canvas, although he has experimented with other mediums as well.

 

Dan is a highly focused and efficient painter, often completing his pieces within around 10 hours. His artistic inspiration comes from the natural world, with a particular love for water, trees, animals, sunsets, and the sky. He is fascinated by how the sun changes the light in the sky, cascading it into different hues, and how a tree can transform into shades of blue, pink, or red. This exploration of color and its omnipresence in the environment is a recurring theme in his work.

He began his painting practice in the quiet of early mornings, a time when he found his artistic juices flowed best, leading to what he calls his "morning paintings." With nature as his muse, Dan aims to capture its splendor, creating a sense of calm and producing works that are truly beautiful.
